Tyke 1, U7, 2016-2017 (Paris Minor Hockey)

From the desk of GM Stewy: The final two games of the year were played Thursday and Saturday against the two teams that previously beat the Tyke Wolfpackers earlier in the year. Port Dover and Beverly both had very strong teams but as a good team does it gets better as the year rolls on and that is exactly what the wolpack boys did...with spread out scoring and solid defence and amazing goal-tending Paris rose to the occasion and won their last two games of the year...3-2 and 4-3 to put their record at 21 wins 5 loses and a tie...  

From the desk of GM Stewy: Trainer Kirk has been busy with training but will be back to update you all on the tournament. The boys just continue to work hard and as a team, besides moving the boys to different positions with new line mates and defense partners the little Wolfpackers just keep chugging along with excellent passing plays and outstanding positioning. On Thursday Paris beat Ayr Flames 5 to 2 for another big win at home....

From the desk of Trainer Kirk...... On Saturday February 18th our boys travelled to the Rockton Arena to face the Beverly Bandits and what an eye opener they got.......

From the desk of Trainer Kirk..... The boys had an exciting game against a great team from Ingersoll on Thursday night this week, the boys played a strong team game and were rewarded with a 5-1 victory. The boys were winning puck battles along the boards and in all three zones.

From the desk of Trainer Kirk... On Sunday January 29th our boys played three games in total in the tournament. All three games were full of excitement, with the final outcome winning the "Red" division of the Tyke Teams. Our boys were presented with the Champions trophy and received medals for their efforts. All around the boys had a great time. They received a tee shirt, a hoodie sweater displaying the Wolfpack logo.....and wearing them proudly.
