Paris Wolfpack Tykes welcome Ingersoll Thursday Night
From the desk of Trainer Kirk.....

The boys had an exciting game against a great team from Ingersoll on Thursday night this week, the boys played a strong team game and were rewarded with a 5-1 victory. The boys were winning puck battles along the boards and in all three zones.

Right out of the gate the boys came out strong and ready to play hard. Tyler Hicks opened the scoring at the 8:45 mark of the first period assisted from Dawson Atkinson and Liam MacKenzie. I think that got the Ingersoll team going, they picked up the pace so the score remained 1-0 at the end of the first period of play.

It did not take long for our boys to add another goal in the second, at the 9:20 mark, Evan Grahlman passed the puck to the front of the net and then went and got it himself and put it between the pipes. Tyler Hicks had initially put the puck to Evan so he was rewarded with an assist on the goal.

Ryan (we need a nickname here!) Qulech started the game in net and kept Ingersoll off the scoreboard for half of the game. Ryan did a great job, he handed over the reigns to Callum "The Cat" Dailey at the half way point of the game.

Tyler Hicks returned to the scoresheet after adding his second of the night assisted from Drew Warren and Griffin Novak at 6:08. it only took a couple of minutes after that for Tyler to complete the Hat Trick!! Our defence got in on the offensive play and Finn Kargus assisted on Tyler's Third goal of the night along with help from Cameron Stewart. Griffin Novak made the score 5-0 at the 3:43 mark of the period on a great wrap around into the back of the net. Assists went to Drew Warren and Finn Kargus.

The shut out was not to be however with Ingersoll spoiling the party for our Goaltending duo by scoring with 2:02 left in the game.

Final Score - Paris 5, Ingersoll 1.

Chat soon, Kirk.
