Great TEAM play
From the desk of GM Stewy:

Another nail biter sports fans...but Paris lost 5-4 to Simcoe Green in the dying seconds of the match. The previous game against these boys from Simcoe the score was 4-0 so we can see improvement all over the ice and at every position. The Wolpack players are really coming along on their positioning, passing and team play...as only one of the Simcoe players hit the scoreboard whereas Paris's scoring was spread out amongst the team again.

Paris was down 2-0 before Tyler found Mason alone in front of the net and gave him a nice feed and Big Mason finished off the play with a wicked low drive in the corner pocket. On the very next shift the boys had almost the exact same play but this time Mason set up Tyler who roofed one the Simcoe goalie has yet to see...top shelf were they keep the peanut butter. Simcoe went ahead again but then Evan dippsy and doodled threw most their team and a couple of them twice, Paris was within one again with assists going to Cameron and Aidan. Simcoe scored to go up 5-3 with a couple of minutes left but the Wolfpack kept howling and Tyler got his second of the night off a nice tape to tape pass from Griffin. Once again the defence core of Logan, Liam, Dawson and Owen worked well at clearing the danger zone and getting the puck up the boards all game. The goal tending tandem was awesome again with Callum and Ryan making some acrobatic saves but the save of the night was by Callum on their big shooter with a double pad stack save...a thing of beauty. Excitement right to the end as in the dying seconds Cameron let a one timer go off a nice passing play from Evan and Aidan but was foiled by the Simcoe goalie. GREAT TEAM GAME!!!! Keep up the great teamwork boys and we will see you at practice as usual this Thursday...next game Saturday 9:30 am vs Wildcats in Waterford.
