The Paris Peewee A/E Wolfpack put it all together Friday night as the outworked and out played their opponents from Ingersoll on every shift. Coach Dalp has been stressing TEAM play and competing over the last few practices and looks like the wolfpack players are going onwards and upwards together...Excellent job one and all...When it was all said and done the final score was
4-1 for Paris. The score could have been a little more lop sided if it wasn't for fine goal tending at their end and 4 or 5 goal posts the Paris boys rang. First goal was scored on a partial breakaway by Gavin M and assisted by his usual partner in crime Owen M (Big O) then #22 big Stew picked up a rebound from in front of the net off a Seth B blast and tucked in the far side, giving Paris a 2-0 lead. After a bunch of chances as the boys swarmed the opponents like bees to honey Dylan L picked the top shelf from above the face off circle with a rocket on a nice feed from Christian P on defense. Ingersoll managed to squeeze one by the always happy and steady goalie James H but the Paris players answered right back when the forever tireless worker Gavin M got his second of the night with a beauty of an assist from Peter F who had a few excellent chances him self that night. The defense for Paris was very strong again lead by King Kolby G and K-man Caleb T playing their usually rock solid and tenacious brand of hockey. Up front Ryan V, Seth B and Lukas P provided the boys with great back checking and good board battles muscling the other team all over the ice, Paris was with out one of their hard working D men again as Coleman L is battling the flu...get well soon Coleman ... the boys and coaching staff miss you. Paris is back at it again tonight in Ingersoll the next home game is Nov. 20th vs Simcoe...hope to see you then.
