Doug Green honored by Peewee A/E's
I have always said ...the only way to get Doug Green to NOT smile is to stand him on his head. The wolfpack boys rallied around Coach Greener in Tillsonburg the other night and presented him with a certificate stating that he is " The best skate tightener and water bottle filler" and they meant it. Doug G was very humbled excepting the award knowing that the boys truly appreciate all his hard work and help...Thank you Dougie G...
The boys won one and lost a close one in their last couple of games. The teams that were beating us early in the year by a handful of goals are not any more. Paris beat a top team in Tillsonburg 3-2 in a wild one with McGavin M getting the winner late in the game on a beautiful solo effort...Lukas P who has been on a tear lately and putting in an honest effort game in and game out got the boys started after a fantastic passing play from Haybo S and Dylan L...Taz scored the second goal for Paris on a nice lead pass from Big Ry Guy V. Players of the game were Owen H. Caleb T Coleman L and Christian P (all our defence men) Next game vs Ingersol ended up 4-3 for them but it was the best these guys have played all year but they did it for only three quarters of the game...For two and a half periods the wolfpack hemmed the opponents in their zone and barraged the Express goalie with tons of shots. Owen M (Taz) leading the way getting two goals with his feistyness and drive to the net. Ryan V picked up a couple more assists, he has been playing his best hockey of the season so far after being inserted on the right side of Gavin and Owen's line. Hayden S scored the third goal by picking up a rebound in front of the net and jamming it home with assists going to his line mates Dylan L and Lukas P. The line of Peter I'll out fox you, Seth Cannon shot and energizer bunny Alex B had good games also with plenty of chances and some hard work along the boards in both ends. Players of the game were Colby G, Ryan V and Taz M. Congrats boys on your hard work and solid effort. Also a special shout out to our unflappable goalie Hoogey that gives us a chance to win every night. REMEMBER BOYS...Onward and Upward...keep up the hard work in practice and it will show in the games!!!!!!!!!!!
