Peewee A/E OMHA tied at one game a piece
The Paris boys came out flying in the first game on the OMHA playoffs vs the Ayr Flames. After playing close games all year the Peewees finally got some payback to the boys from Ayr. All the hard work they have been doing in practice finally is paying off for these outstanding little men. The visitors took a one to nothing lead in the first period but Paris came back like gangbusters....

Dylan L. started off the scoring in the second with a beauty to the top shelf that the Ayr net minder had no chance on, assist went to Lukas P. who played one of his best games of the year to tie the match at one. Ethan R scored on a superb end to end rush that I know made his grandfather Billy R. a local hockey legend proud, assists went to Caleb T. and and King Kong Colby G. always a force to be reckoned with either on D or the wing. Super sub Seth B. scored the third and finally goal with a nice snapper from the slot for the ever hard working Paris squad with assists going to Peter F. and Big Ryan V. The defense corp of Paris Caleb T, Coleman L, Owen L and Captain Christian P. played an amazing shutdown game not letting the Ayr players in the danger zone and if anything did get by them Hoogey our ninja goalie shut the door the rest of the way...final score Paris 3 Ayr 1. The parents pick for players of the game were Colby G. and Coleman L. who both played their best games of the year. Well done boys...
Second game in Ayr was an exciting match from start to finish. The boys welcome back team scoring leader Gavin M back from some well deserved R&R in the sunny south. Ayr took a one to nothing lead in the first and never let go, the boys had some excellent chances with Taz and Haybo ringing a couple of post but they couldn't get one by the acrobatic Ayr net keeper. The game was Paris's for the taking but a parade to the penalty box in the third period killed any chances of a come back for the Wolfpack...final scor Ayr 1 Paris 0. Parents pick for player of the game was our ninja goalie Hoogey who once again as always gave his team a chance to win. Coach Dalp says "No worries boys...onward and upward" The third game of the best of five series resumes tonight in Paris with a 7pm start at the Ice Palace...come on out to see some exciting hockey and cheer our boys on.
