Wolfpack Peewee A/E team knocked out of OMHA's
With a full line up Thursday night the mighty Wolfpack team went toe to toe and end to end in one of the most exciting games of the year...complete with pulling the goalie for the last minute assault on the acrobatic Ayr Flame goalie...only to be on the wrong side of a 3-2 score for the Flames...Scoring for Paris were Ethan R. assisted by Lukas P. and Seth B. and fan favorite McGavin while being assisted by Hayden S. and Coleman L. Series 2 to 1 for Ayr...The next game in Ayr...
the Paris boys were shorthanded due to all their AP players playing in the First Annual Lisa Dalpe Local League tournament...with only ten players and their 3rd game in 4 nights Paris had nothing left in the tank and the well coached Ayr Flames cruised to a 4-0 win and a series win 3 games to 1. The Ayr coaches praised the Paris boys after the game commenting on how much they have improved over the start of the year and that they put a scare into the second place finishers...the coaches also had a complement for the peewee goalie James H. (Ninja Hoogey) saying if he keeps improving the way he is going he will be wearing a Paris Mounties sweater in no time. All the Paris coaching staff Stewy, Dalp, Greener, Spiker and Foxy are very proud of the boys efforts all year long and they too are proud of how far these boys have come throughout the year and their never ending desire to learn and no quit attitude....Thank you boys...Next up Southern Counties Championship starts this Thursday vs Simcoe at 7:05 at the Ice Palace...hope to see you there.
