Perfect day at Hoogs Gardens
The boys would like to thank Ronna and Teddy Hoogstraten for inviting the Peewee A/E's to come out for an awesome breakfast and a good old fashion game of shinny that the boys loved and marked another nice team memory for this years lads...The coaches with help from the hockey mom's are also organizing a team bowling night for the boys coming up at the end of February...stay tuned.
The boys played an outstanding game in Simcoe last night working their tails off throughout the entire game only to lose 2-1 with a disallowed goal from McGavin that we are still trying to figure out why...oh well. Dylan L scored on a set up from Lukas P and Caleb T to tie the game and it was a see saw battle after that with Hoogey making some unbelievable saves. It was a rough game and Paris held their own not backing down from the sneaky little Simcoe team that is very aggressively coached...I hope that the Simcoe coach does not kiss his mother with the mouth he was using last night...hopefully the Wolfpack boys didn't learn any new words last night. The Paris boys fought to the end and put on a minute or two barrage at the end of the third period with Hoogey on the bench but could not get one by the lightning fast opposing net keeper. Next home game is this Friday vs Caledonia Thunder 7pm at the Paris Ice Palace. Hope to see you there.
