Wolfpack Top Tornadoes to Move to Southern Counties ‘A’ Final
Playing one of their best games of the year, the #4 ranked Paris Wolfpack topped the #1 ranked Tillsonburg Tornadoes 4-1 to move into the Southern Counties ‘A’ Division final.

Thomas K. opened the scoring for Paris 23 seconds into the opening frame when he intercepted a pass in the Paris zone, raced the length of the ice and squeaked the puck past the Tillsonburg goalie. Kyle C. and Will M. were awarded assists on the goal. Tillsonburg rallied to tie the score in the opening minutes of the second period when they intercepted a clearing pass and snuck one past Paris goalie Carson B..  Will regained the lead for Paris with just less than 3 minutes remaining in the second period when he took a pass from linemate Josh and roofed a backhand into the top of the net. Ryan O. increased the Paris lead to 3-1 six minutes into the 3rd period with Thomas and Will picking up assists.  With 1 minute remaining in the game, Paris shorthanded and Tillsonburg pulling their goalie for an extra attacker, Kitchen rounded out the Paris scoring with an excellent individual effort as he fought off a Tillsonburg player the length of the ice and slid the puck into the open net. Kyle picked up his second assist of the night on the goal. Carson put in a solid performance in net for the Wolfpack, making several outstanding saves during the contest to keep the high powered Tillsonburg offense quiet. After 5 years of unsuccessful attempts, coach Bruce can now check beating his alma mater off his coaching bucket list.
