Wolfpack and Thunder Skate to 5-5 Draw
With semi-final berths on the line, the Paris Wolfpack and the Caledonia Thunder skated to a 5-5 draw in an exciting and well-played game on Wednesday March 6th in Caledonia.

Caledonia jumped out to a quick 2-0 just 67 seconds into the first period.  Ryan O. cut the lead in half 90 seconds later with Paris on the power-play when his wrist shot found the top of the net. Adam S. and Josh S. earned assist.  The Thunder added to their lead in the opening minute of the second period. Adam S. responded 2 minutes later with a “roof daddy” from in tight to cut the Thunder lead to a single goal. Thomas K. picked up an assist. Ninety seconds later, Josh S. tied the game converting a pass from Adam S..  Just over one minute later, Tyler G. slipped the puck under the Thunder goalie to put Paris into the lead. Spencer C. assisted on Tyler's marker.  Caledonia scored in the last half of the second period to send the game tied at 4-4 into the third period. The Thunder regained the lead in the opening 3 minutes of the third period.  Ryan O., with his second of the night, assisted by Kyle C., brought the game back even with 6 minutes remaining.  With 4 minutes remaining Paris goalie Carson B. made a game saving save on a delayed penalty call and then calmly thwarted the Thunder captain on the resulting penalty shot keeping the game tied at 5-5.  The single point earned by both teams was enough to send each team into the semi-finals.
