Adam Leads Wolfpack over Flames
In his second game back since returning from an upper body injury Adam S. scored a goal and added 3 assists to lead the Paris Wolfpack past the Ayr Flames 5-3 at the Brant Sports Complex
on Friday February 26th.
Joshua S. opened the scoring 4 minutes into the opening frame when he drove down the right wing past the Ayr defender and wired a wrist shot into the top of the net. Line mates Thomas K. and Adam S. picked up assists. Ryan O., assisted by Adam, scored less than 1 minute later to give Paris a 2-0 lead after the first period. Ayr responded with the only goal in the second period and a goal in the opening minute of the third period to knot the game at 2-2. Ryan put Paris back on top with just under 10 minutes remaining in the game when he carried the puck deep into the Ayr zone, around the back of the net and banked the puck in off the Ayr goalie. Adam added to the Paris lead, taking a pass from Josh in the high slot and firing a backhand into the top of the net. Thomas rounded out the Paris scoring with 3 minutes remaining when he banged in a loose puck in the crease. Kyle C. and Adam recorded assists. Paris will be without the services of winger Tyler A. for a while after he suffered a broken wrist snowboarding earlier in the day.
