Peewee AE Celebrate Series Win With The Tampa Bay Lightnings Jake Dotchin
After dropping the first 2 games of the series to Ayr, The Wolfpack came storming back to win in 5! After the victory we headed to Legends for a round of root beers. Once inside the boys noticed that Jake Dotchin of the Tampa Bay Lightning was there and we were able to convince him to come over for some pictures and to join in on the celebration. Thanks Jake for taken time to hang with the boys!

Since the Christmas break the boys have been trying to find the offence that helped them finish the regular season in 1st place. After the first 2 games we were left scratching our heads and trying to find a way to climb back into the series after dropping them 2-1, and 2-0.
Being down 2-0, the boys looked a little shell shocked, but coach Chris reminded them that even though we were down 2 games, all the pressure is now on Ayr, and that they have to beat us to move on, all we have to do is go out and play hockey and have fun.
Facing elimination in game 3, the boys came out flying and working as a team, and controlled the game from start too finish. Although it was Ayr that scored 1st, it was the Wolfpack that scored the next 4 goals to go up 4-1. With the game in hand, Paris let up a bit and allowed Ayr to make it 4-2, but before the final buzzer, Paris buried 1 more to win the game 5-2.
Game 4, in Ayr, and still on the ropes, the Wolfpack again needed a win to stay alive. Both teams came out playing hard and at the end of the 1st the score was 0-0. Paris was able to jump out to a 2-0 lead by the end of the 2nd. We knew Ayr was going to play the 3rd with everything they had, and at the start, we had trouble matching what the Flames were doing, and they scored early to make it 2-1. The rest of the game was fairly tight, but it was the Wolfpack that kept up the pressure and were rewarded with a pair of goals in the final minutes to win the game 4-1 and force a game 5 back in Paris.
Game 5 was a lot like game 4, as both teams were playing fast, hard hockey. Paris got up early, but could only get the 1, and before the end of the 1st Ayr was able to make it 1-1. The 2nd period was a goalie battle as neither would crack and left both teams looking skywards. In the 3rd the Wolfpack wouldn't be denied and scored 3 times to win the game 4-1 and win the series 3-2. It was a great series, and really great to see the team scoring again.

Great Work Boys,
Go Wolfpack Go!!
