PEEWEE AE, AYLMER MARCH BREAK TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS!!!
What away for the Wolfpack boys to end their March break.

After losing the first game of the tournament, we pulled together and played 3 very good games to win the tournament with 3 straight shut-outs and out score the other teams 11-0, in the process.

Friday night we kicked off the tournament against Listowel. The boys were off their game from the very start and no matter what was said on the bench, we just couldn't get the real Wolfpack team to show up, and we lost the game 4-1. The boys played hard and never gave up, and played right to the final buzzer. Our goal was scored by Noah S, with the assists going to Matt L, and Tyler A. The players of the game were Owen H and Tyler A.

On Saturday, knowing we had to win both games to give us a shot at the finals, the "REAL" Wolfpack showed up!

First up we played BCH, and from the first shift our boys were on top of their game. We scored 49 seconds into the game and continued to out play BCH throughout the game. The boys played fast, and had BCH chasing us all game long. Final score was a 7-0 victory. Goals were scored by, Noah S and Tyler A each with 2, Alex B, Owen T, and Julian V, each with 1. Assists too, Noah S and Owen H each with 2, Luke B, Caiden G, Simon O, and Austin P, each with 1. The players of the game were Julian V and Austin P.

Our 2nd game on Saturday had us facing a Kawartha team that was sitting at 2-0. Again our boys came to play and were clearly the faster team and as the game went on we took over on zone time as well. The boys dominated Kawartha, but had trouble beating the skinny red defensemen, as we hit post after post. Although Lucas R wasn't overly busy, he made the saves when he had too. The final score was 2-0. Goals by, Austin P, and Owen T, with Simon O, getting the lone assist. Players of the game were Simon O, and Owen T, with Lucas R, picking up his second straight shut-out.

By winning both games Saturday, we put ourselves in a position to play in the final, but needed a little help. We now sat and watched the Listowel/BCH game to see if we would play for the championship. We needed the clearly underdog team from BCH to either beat or tie Listowel, and with only 11 seconds left in the game our prayers were answered as BCH scored to tie the game, and place us 1st after the round robin and send us to the finals were we would play Kawartha once again.

Sunday morning, championship game, Paris vs Kawartha, part 2...

In the dressing room before the game, we let the boys know that Kawartha would be a lot stronger and determined and that we would have to up our game as well. Again, just like the last game, we came out and grabbed control of the game and dominated the zone time, but again we had a hard time getting the puck into the net, as the Kawartha goalie did everything he could to give his team a chance, as the Wolfpack put shot after shot on him. Eventually we were able to get a couple past him, and Lucas R, did the rest, with his 3rd straight shut-out and 8th of the year, and the Paris Wolfpack celebrated winning the championship with a final score of 2-0. Our goals were scored by, Caiden G, and Nate M, with Julian V, getting the only assist.

After 3 strong showings in our previous tournaments, we were finally able to break through and win the 4th.
Congratulations, Noah S, Tyler A, Matt L, Alex B, Caiden G, Julian V, Simon O, Austin P, Owen H, Owen T, Nate M, Luke B, and Lucas R. Coaches Chris H, Chris P, Ken T, and Paul B, with a special shut out to Tyler G and coach Doug G, who couldn't be at the tournament, as they were working on their tans in sunny Florida!!

Great Weekend Boys!!
