The second shut out in Ryan and Callum's young PMHA career reminds the the old GM of the great goalie tandem of the 60's for his beloved Maple Leafs of Terry Sawchuck and Johnny Bower...you don't get much better than that. The defensive corps of Mason, Liam were a force to be reckon with as they wouldn't let to many Burford players get past them as they protected our house all night long. Owen aka "the Bruiser'' and Finn had some amazing rushes up ice when they saw the open lane...young Finn has been said to have more moves than a Rubik's Cube. The forwards spread out the scoring with Cameron netting his first hat trick of his career with Evan, Drew and Tyler continuing their torrid scoring paces scoring 5 goals between them. Coach Sinc is taking the credit for moving the ever versatile Griffin and Logan up to forward after it paid off with Griffin having a three point night and Logan aka "the Crusher" played exceptionally good positioning, going to the greasy area in front of their net looking for rebounds. Aidan and Dawson chased down the biscuit all night and did some ferocious fore-checking smothering the JR Bulldogs at every turn..."good defence makes for a great offence" was said by Coach Frankie as he counted his change to see if he had enough to pay his Movember bet debt to GM Stewy or another trip to the canteen...the canteen won. Coach Kirk who was an ex Paris Mountie and a world class figure skater himself in his day is amazed at how far these boys have come in such a little while. Head Coach Rob says "Another excellent team effort - the combination of team work, positional play and goaltending unlocked the door for the win." Hockey 101 tip of the day "the puck always moves faster then the player can"

Don't miss the next match this Saturday 11am vs Waterford Wildcats at the Ole Twin Barns in Paris. If you like old fashion hard working hockey...you will love the Tyke Wolfpackers!!!!!!!!!!!!!
