Wasn't that a parade!!
From the desk of GM Stewy:

What a great day of team activities and building. First thing Saturday morning after a hard working practice the players and parents met at Kingswood Products to decorate their float in the warmth thanks to Paul and Phil Dalpe. The parents all worked as a team and brought their extra Christmas decorations and together made a beautiful float (it made it on CTV news) as the children got a tour of the Paris Fire Fighters Station House.

Thanks to firemen Watty and Dalp for their time and patience with these excited little men...they had a blast and that gave the mom's and Bob the Builder (Coach Sinc) chance to spruce up the float. Also would like to thank Kris Carson from BGI for donating to us the two beautiful banners that all the boys signed and we were able to give to our sponsors Comfort Plus and Cobblestone Medical Rehab for their gracious donations.  With Coach Kirk at the helm of the wolfpack race car float we cruised in style threw the parade grounds getting ohs and ahs from the crowd as these future hockey stars sang their wolfpack song and wished everyone a merry Christmas...the boys were on the best behaviour...as they knew Santa was close by. They also had their own mascot "The Welching Wolf" following them throughout the parade...I think it was a sheep in wolves clothing personally, thanks to the bearded Christmas tree (Matt) also for making it fun for all. Afterwards back to Coach Stewys house for a pizza party and hot chocolate, special thanks to Coach Robo for digging deep for the pizza...Coach Sinc was heard to say he has never seen so many moths come out of one wallet. Fun was had by all...tip of the day...don't make 6 and 7 year old boys sit for 2 hours and then feed them a bag of candy...here's hoping they got to sleep before midnight. Next action for the mighty Wolfpack is this Thursday vs Simcoe at the Twin Ice Palace at 6pm ...  Get there early as the the seats fill up fast to catch a glimpse of these high flying hockey players.
