Hot Goalie sinks Wolfpack Tykes
From the desk of GM Stewy:

Paris Tyke Wolfpack ran into a very hot goalie last night...the young cage minder was a brick wall. Paris had approx. 200 breakaways and couldn't slip one by the Simcoe stopper. The Paris goalkeeping tandem of Ryan and Callum made some outstanding saves to keep they boys within reach but they couldn't find an opening. Goalie coach Frankie (second place finisher in the coaches Movember moustache contest) was impressed with both teams netminders.

Congrats to Liam who got to play his first Wolfpack game, he played solid 'D' and his positioning along with the other defenders Fin, Owen and Crusher (Logan) was noticed as a positive by the coaches. The forwards of the mighty Wolfpack must have out shot their opponents 3or4 to 1 but like I said it seemed like all the young Carey Price at the other end saw only beach balls coming at him. A tip of the hat to Griffin, Dawson and Mason who played great positional hockey along with our centres Aidan and Drew who dogged the puck all night and tried their best. Fierce fore checking by Cameron, Tyler and Evan lead to about five breakaways each with the outcome the same each time. The boys will be back in action Dec 8th at 6pm at the Old Twin Ice Palace but first they will be on the Tyke Christmas float for the Paris Christmas parade this Saturday. The future hockey stars are very excited about this and thanks to Fire Fighters Phil Dalpe and Paul Watson they will also be getting a tour of the Firehall...does it get any better than that? Coach Robo says ... "sometimes you out play your opponent and get nothing out of it but the fact of knowing you tried your hardest". GM Stewy would like to thank all the runners up in Movember moustache contest (Pabst Blue Ribbon please) and tell the boys that we are always proud of the hard work and effort you put in. See you at the Parade.....
