Tyke team wins very FIRST game of their young careers

The Paris Tyke team traveled to the big city of Burford Saturday morning for their very first hockey game this season...and what an outcome...10-0 for Paris. The Wolpack coaches and parents were very pleased with the total team effort...The team showed great hustle and determination with some beautiful passing plays and unselfish team work.
Goalies Ryan and Callum recorded their first shutout of their very young careers making a lot of good saves each with one being on a breakaway.
The defensive core of Mason, Logan, Finn and Owen only let one Burford defender slip by all day and were tough in front of their net clearing the danger zone...they looked like grizzly old veterans out there today.
We found out that we have a lot of scoring punch upfront starting with Evan, he was on fire as he scored his very first hat trick and added an assist to boot while Drew was buzzing all over the ice and picked up two goals and two assists...Aidan also scored two beauties and had a nice assist. Congratulations to Tyler, Griffin and Dawson for scoring their first hockey goals on some hard shots from the slot. Cameron picked up a couple of assists on some nice heads up plays moving the puck to the open man.

Coach Rob says "Excellent team effort, everyone contributed for the TEAM win."
GM Stewy says "If the boys keep practicing hard it will continue to show up in games."
Coach Sinc says "the defensive play today was stellar" and why he has to pay more for a team jacket then the rest of us...it's called math Sinc.
Goalie Coach Frankie was amazed by the hard work of our goalies.
Come out to the Paris Twin Ice Barn next Thursday at 6pm to watch the boys take on the Simcoe Jets...you will pay for the whole seat but only use the edge.
