Pewee LL #1 has finished strong in the regular season.
The last two games played have been strong games for the LL #1. Falling to Embro 5-2 but a strong game played by all. Great goals from "Digger" Dallas and "Fire Cracker" Eric.
The team came to win on Sunday against Hespler and that's just what they did!!! It was the best game of the season and every player played hard and with heart.
"Iron Man" Mitchell hit the game sheet with a 2 nice goals. "Top Cheese" Carson light up the score board with 4 goals. The D kept them out of our end most of the game and was not letting anyone through. " Hold the line" Oscar did just that all game. "D man" Gabe played great and kept the puck in their end. "Force them to the boards" Trenton kept them from our net and "Last Second Man"Lucas rushed the puck and made some great shoots on net. "Speedster" Karson, "Digger" Dallas, "No quit" Reston, "Fire Cracker" Eric and the "Wiry" Connor made great passes and assisted many goals. "Danny Boy" held strong in the pipes only letting in one goal and made some great saves to keep Paris in the game.
Great Job boys!!! If our team carries this momentum into playoffs " lookout". See everyone Saturday for the first playoff game against Ayr, where every game against this team has been a nail biter. Thanks to all parents for all the cheering in the stands!!!
