The Wolfpack finished off their round robin
playoff play with a solid 6-2 win in Plattsville Thursday night. Recently locking up first place, Paris finished
the round robin with a 7-0-1 record.
"Danny Boy" was solid in the win, once again allowing two goals or less. Paris came out flying in the first with many chances. Starting things off was that firecracker Eric M with a beautiful goal on a nice feed from "Top Cheese" Carson K. "Last Second Man" Lucas S followed up with a nice deke to make it 2-0. Plattsville made it 2-1 twenty seconds later. Paris ran away with the game after that, making it 3-1 twenty seconds later with a nice top shelf goal by the wiry one Connor K on a feed from "Top Cheese". Carson K then made it 4-1 on a nice feed from "D Man" Gabe L who was again fantastic on the point.
The second period Paris scored early to make it 5-1. "Digger" Dallas M scored on a nice deflection on a feed from Lucas S and Eric M. Paris got into a few bad habits which led to a Plattsville goal to make it 5-2. Paris continued to carry most of the play but the Plattsville goalie stood tall and kept the score 5-2 after two periods.
Carson K got the final tally on a nice post to post and in goal to make it 6-2. "Never Quit" Cole R and "The Speedster" Karson L were quick on their feet and had a few chances themselves, both playing strong games. "Force Him To The Boards" Trenton M had a solid game on "D" playing very well positionally and even got to switch spots with Connor K in the third and get a chance up front. "The Iron Man" Mitchell M worked hard all night and did a tremendous job of filling in on "D" when the defence started to pinch.
Great job tonight guys! Missing in action was Oscar P who will be a welcomed back addition when he returns from vacation.
Boys, you deserve to be undefeated in the playoffs as you've all worked hard and played as a team.
