The boys came to win on Sunday!! Right from the first puck drop the boys were all over Twin Centre!
The "wirey" Connor K got the Wolf Pack on the board in the first period. The second period was followed up by lots of chances at the net with Paris netting two more on goals from "Never Quit" Cole R and "Digger" Dallas M. The Wolfpack could have been up about 10-0 if it wasn't for the play of the Twin Centre goalie.
"Top Cheese" Carson K, "Firecracker" Eric M and "Speedster" Karson L had plenty of chances up front but just couldn't get one. " Iron Man" Mitchell M worked hard along the boards and helped out by winning many puck battles and being strong on his stick. Paris headed into the 3rd with a 3-0 lead.
It wasn't long into the 3rd when "wiry" Connor K added his second of the game to make it 4-0 Paris. "Digger" Dallas M made it 5-0 two minutes later, clearly sending a message that Paris wasn't letting up. Twin Centre made it 5-1 putting in the rebound after Danny Boy made a fantastic first stop but just couldn't quite get to the second one. He was stellar the entire game and came up with some big saves when called upon.
Paris made it 6-1 on what could be the goal of the season. "Last Second Man" Lucas S skated end to end, in and out of traffic to score a beautiful top shelf goal to beat the goalie high blocker side. The Paris "D" were awesome! They have defended very well and it's shown. Along with their hard work and Danny's strong play, in 6 playoff games the team has only allowed a total of 7 goals.
Fantastic game boys, you deserve high praise on the way you've played throughout the playoffs. Keep up the hard work!
