Merry Christmas to the Peewee A/E family's
They boys have been busy over last week with four games, no wins were picked up but the boys never quit and were with in striking distance in three out of the four. Congratulations to our other Owen from the Atom A/E for playing his first game for the peewees...his Atom coaches can thank Doug Green for finding out that he is a born D man...great job Owen H.
The new line of McGavin, Taz and Haybo have been on fire registering points and pretty plays in the last three games with Haybo S picking up 3 goals and 1 assist during that period with Taz and Gavin padding their offensive stats also. Lukas P, Ryan V and Dylan L rounded out the goal scoring with and Atom call up Alex buzzsaw B picking up his first point for the Peewee wolfpack. The whole team has been fighting the flu for the past month and players have been asked to play different positions and endure alot of ice time. The Defensive corp of Caleb T, Coleman L, Christian P and Colby G have been improving every game with rock solid play and moving the puck very well out of our zone with Ryan V filling in admirably when called apon. Big Lukas P has played his best during that stretch also bulldogging his way all over the ice and crashing the net. Peter F a converted D man has been amazing playing the wing, Little Foxy and Alex B have been working their tails off every game keeping the opponents back on their heels in their own end on most shifts. The Coaching staff would like to thank the players and parents for the very special coaches breakfast they put on at Cobblestones, the gifts were very thoughtful, much appreciated and will be cherished...what a great bunch of kids and parents who are making this a special year for all involved. The boys are off till the new year so the team would like to wish you a very merry Christmas and a happy and safe New Year....thank you all again...Coach Dalp says "Onward and upward for the playoff run in the New Year boys...keep working hard and the hockey gods will eventually smile on you".
