League Play Begins
1st game vs Ingersoll had a slow start giving up a goal in the first minute. Late in the first we tied the game up with solid play of Coleman L & Lukas P. sending Ethan Robb to the net for the teams 1st.
We struck again early in the 2nd when Hayden S connected to Owen M. feeding Cam T for the go ahead goal. Ingersoll came back tying things up. The 3rd showed promise, both teams trading shots but Ingersoll snuck one past Hoogy taking the lead. An all-man-in attack & Hoogy watching from the bench Ryan V narrowly missed tying things up but Ingersoll flopped a shot into an empty net to take the game 4-2. Coaches commented on the positive way the players adjusted to new PP and PK lines and liked a lot of what they saw. Game 2 Friday night 8:20 at BSC vs Plattsville should make for an exciting home opener.
