Paris rebounds back to winning hockey
After a couple close games through early November and some tough bounces the Wolfpack came to play Friday night in Paris as the Bantam AE looked to regain their winning ways. Taking on first place Ayr in their 5th meeting of the year with a record of 2 ties (pre season) and 2 losses against the Flames Paris had something to prove. The first period was end to end and Paris seemed to have the upper hand

creating good scoring chances and shutting down the Ayr offence. Late in the 1st Adam J. found the back of the net to give Paris a 1-0 lead going into the 2nd. Paris kept the pressure up in the second and were rewarded with goals by Andrew M. and Coleman L. after some solid team play. Late in the second Ayr pressed back and managed to sneak one pass the ever vigilant Hoogy. Paris held strong and regained their attack to be rewarded with a 4th goal by new left wing Jacob R. on a sweet passing play that had the Ayr D and tendy scrambling. Ayr didn’t let up and were rewarded with a nice tip-in but Paris shut the door limiting Ayr to few chances and held on for a 4-2 Wolfpack victory. All round a strong team effort and well deserved win. The coaches are particularly pleased that the team is really starting to gel and the hard work at practice is showing game after game as the playoffs approach.
