Wolfpack Ties Warriors
The Wolfpack finished their four game week by heading to Simcoe for a Sunday afternoon game. Paris was back at full strength and looking duplicate their Saturday effort.
Paris took a 1-0 lead in the first period when Josh P received a pass from Andrew and went down the wing before firing a well placed shot off the post and into the goal. Simcoe battled back quickly and tied the game forty seconds later. Simcoe scored the only goal of the second period and carried a 2-1 lead into the 3rd period.
Late in the third period, Andrew was able to spring Josh into the attack and Josh found the back of the net for his second of the game. After a late time out, Paris generated one last chance off a face-off with 30 seconds to play but they were unable to beat the Simcoe goalie and the game ended in a 2-2 tie.
Josh P was named 'WOTG' for his strong back checking and two goals.
Up next for the Wolfpack is a Thursday night date in Paris against Ingersoll. The Express downed Paris 6-4 in the opening game of the season.
