OMHA Play-offs: Part 2
The Novice Wolfpack faced a winner take all game five with NOTL in their quarter final series. Trailing two games to one, Paris was able to gain some momentum and reeled of a pair of wins to advance to the OMHA Novice B-West semi-finals against the always tough Simcoe Warriors.
In game five with NOTL, the two teams battled through a tight first period in which neither team was able to score. NOTL opened the scoring in the 2nd period and lead 1-0. Paris battled back with a pair of goals and carried a 2-1 lead into the third period. With just over four minutes to play, the Wolfpack created a turnover at the NOTL blueline and netted an insurance goal for a 3-1 lead. Paris locked things down over the final four minutes with Carson K making a couple of nice saves to preserve the win.
The Wolfpack will now look to refocus on the Warriors as they prepare for the semi-finals. The schedule is as follows:
