Wolfpack Tie Ayr Flames
The Novice Wolfpack hosted Ayr in a match-up of 'B' centers at the BSC. Paris was coming off their strong showing at the Rob Johnston Tournament and was looking to avenge a loss from earlier in the season.
After a scoreless first period, Ayr grabbed the lead early in the second period on a shot that snuck by Carson K and trickled across the line. Ryker H found some open ice late in the 2nd period and fired a hard wrist shot to tie the game at one.
Ayr regained the lead four minutes into the 3rd period. Trailing by one and with less than three minutes to play, Ryker broke loose again and found the back of the net with a well placed wrister to tie the game at two.
Neither team could find any space over the final two minutes and the game ended in a 2-2 tie.
Ryker was named the 'WOTG' for his strong skating which led to two goals.
