Another Successful Week For The Peewee Rep Wolfpack!!
Paris travelled to Hagersville this past Wednesday and then had a tilt with Six Nations at home on Friday night, winning both games.  The first was a 5-2 win and the Six Nations game was a 7-2 win.

Paris battled hard on Wednesday night and came out with a 5-2 victory.  This was a game that was very rough and chippey, with a few of the Paris players escaping serious injury.  The boys did a very good job at staying composed and keeping their heads.  As the saying goes, cooler heads will prevail.

Hagersville would start the scoring with 3:53 remaining in the first period as Paris would get off to a slow start.  The first period would finish up 1-0 for Hagersville.

Paris would wake up and start their second period strong, scoring 3 second period goals.  Simon O would take the bull by the horns and start the scoring at 8:01.  Max K would get the lone assist on the play, as Max won the draw directly to Simon and he would one-time it into the goal.  Now it was time for Austin P to make some nice moves and put one into the back of the net. Simon and Max would get the assists on the play.  Harry P would score the next one from the point on the power play.  It was like the puck had eyes as it found its way to the back of the net.  Simon and Max would get the helpers on the play. Paris would head into the 3rd up 3-1.

Simon O would get it going again just a minute and a half into the 3rd to make it 4-1.  This is where the game would turn a bit ugly as Hagersville would start running Paris players from behind and into the boards.  Hagersville would end up with 3 game misconducts on the night, with some of their players likely to be suspended for a couple of games.  Paris kept their heads and although they allowed one more goal, would have a pretty strong period.  Jason B would add the fifth tally for Paris.  Jason was injured early in the third and this was his first shift back.  Jason would hop onto the ice off the bench, grab the puck and skate through the Hagersville team to make the final 5-2.

Paris was headed home, a little bruised and battered but up for the task at hand Friday night.

Paris would score 6 goals in the first two periods of Friday night's game versus Six Nations.  Starting things off was Austin P on the powerplay.  Getting the assists were Alex B and Simon O.  Simon would then get his first of 3 on the night, again on the powerplay.  The assist would go to Austin P.  Alex B would get into the scoring on a beauty to make it 3-0. Simon O would get the lone helper on the play.  Jason B would get the fourth goal on some nice puck movement from his line mates Spencer D and Trevor K.  Austin P would add to his game totals by putting another biscuit behind the goalie.  Nathan M and Alex B would get the assists on the play.  Simon O would add the 6th goal of the night to make things 6-0.  The assists would go to Max K and Austin P.  This line was on fire for most of the night and was almost unstoppable...…….Now the 3rd period.

The 3rd period was a bit of a different story than the rest of the game.  Paris seemed to change its style of play and would start to falter.  Six Nations would score two goals in the third that were almost identical as to how they happened.  The score was now 6-2 with approximately 7 minutes remaining and the coaching staff thought a time out was in order.  The time out is just what they needed.  The would right the ship and play fairly strong for the remainder of the game.  Simon O would get the hatty to make it 7-2.  Alex B and Austin P would do a beautiful job setting him up for his third.

A special shout out to the PK over the last couple of games. To the duo of Trevor K and Spencer D, the duo of Owen H and Evan B and all four "D", the coaching staff is extremely happy in their role in these situations.  Keep up the good work!

The Wolfpack will travel to Delhi on Tuesday @ 8:15 and then back home for tilts with Aylmer on Thursday @ 7 and Waterford on Friday @ 8:20.  Don't forget to come out and support the Wolfpack!!
