Another 3 out of 4 points for the Paris Peewee AE's for the week!!
Paris started the week off in Cayuga on Sunday and finished up at home on Thursday versus St. George.

Paris played well on Sunday in Cayuga but couldn't come up with the two points.  They were, however, able to come out with at least a point.

Both teams would battle hard throughout the game.  If anything, Paris maybe took Cayuga a little lightly and didn't come out as tough as they should.  There wouldn't be any scoring until the second period when Cayuga would take a 1-0 lead while on the power play. Cayuga would take a 1-0 lead into the third.

Paris would battle through some tough penalty calls and non-calls and tie things up in the third.  Connor K was able to continue his goal scoring streak with his 3rd goal in as many games, with the assist going to Owen M.  Paris carried the play for the rest of the game but was unable to pot the winner.  The final would end up 1-1 for the evening.

Thursday night would start with a pre-game speech from the coach, stating the importance of controlling the game from every aspect.  "The team that controls the play, will generally control the outcome."

Control the game is just what they did!!  Kruz K started the game off with a goal, just 23 seconds in.  It wasn't just the top shelf goal that was a beauty, it was the blocked shot by defenceman Seth B who ended up assisting on the play because of it.  Luke R was fantastic yet again and was solid all night in the Paris goal.

The second period started with Paris being up 1-0.  Kruz K would score yet again with less than four minutes gone to put Paris up 2-0.  The assists went to Noah S and Cameron T, who moved the puck with finesse the whole night.

All three lines played solid all night.  Paris would be the victors 2-0!! If Paris continues to play solid "D" and as a team, who knows what things can happen for this team!  The coaches were very proud off all the boys for their effort and their willingness to be their best on almost every given night. With three games remaining in the round robin for Paris, they sit atop of the standings with 14 points.  Paris will play in Caledonia on Thursday, in Tillsonburg on Sunday and finish their round robin play at home versus Plattsville on March 2.  Paris requires just 1 or 2 points to insure them top 4 and play in at least the semi finals for the Southern Counties Title!!  I hope all the boys are as pumped up as their coaches.  GO WOLFPACK GO!!
