Paris Secures No Worse Than 2nd Place With Comeback Win!
Although it wasn't pretty, the Peewee AE's were able to secure themselves a spot in the Southern Counties Semi-Finals with a big win Thursday night.

The Peewee AE's would like to have back  two of the three periods Thursday night as they weren't playing their style of hockey that had allowed them much of their success.  Not only for these playoffs, but for most of their season.

Caledonia would score 2 in the first to take a 2-0 lead into the second period.  Paris would get 1 closer with a coast to coast goal from Spencer C.  Caledonia would take a two goal lead again shortly thereafter and take a 3-1 lead into the third period.

After a discussion at the bench with the coaching staff between periods, the team would wake up and start to play their type of hockey.  Eric M would make it 3-2 on a beauty top glove side goal.  Kruz K would make a nice pass to put the puck out front and Eric would put it away.  Kruz would go end to end 50 seconds later to tie things up 3-3.  Caledonia would take a time out.  The coaches stressed the importance of keeping the pressure on as Paris had Caledonia on its heels.  They did just what the coaches asked for.  Jack C would get a nice top shelf goal to put Paris up for the first time of the night.  There was no looking back as Paris would just keep coming.  Connor K would make it 5-3 after picking up a rebound and backhanding it into the goal.  Seth B would get the assist on the play. Caledonia would pull their goalie with just under two minutes to play.  Owen M would make it 6-3 on a deflection from a pass from Seth B.  Caledonia would score with 28 seconds left but by then it was too late for them.

Although the coaches didn't like what they witnessed for the first two periods, they were proud of the boys for not quitting.  Paris will head to Tillsonburg on Sunday night, with hopes of locking up first overall!!
