Wolfpack Drop Game 1 of OMHA Quarters
Missed
assignments by the Wolfpack in their own end proved costly as Ingersoll scored
3 unanswered goals in the latter half of the 3rd period to break a
2-2 tie and take game 1 of the OMHA Peewee B quarter final series.
Ingersoll opened the scoring with 4:11 remaining in the first period, picking up a rebound and finding the open side of the net. James tied the game 9 minutes into the second period, taking a pass from Gavin M. and beating the Express goalie with a wrist shot. Ingersoll would rally to re-take the lead less than 1 minute later. Paris would respond to tie the game 40 seconds later when Carson K. picked up a rebound off of a point shot from Brady and slid the puck under the goalie into the net. Ingersoll would go on to score 3 unanswered goals in the 3rd period to take game 1.
