Bantam Reps Put out the Flames, OMHA first round
The Paris Bantam Rep team is battle hardened and ready for a fight as they look to take on Simcoe in the next round of OMHA play downs after extinguishing the Ayr Flames 3 games to 1.

Game one in Paris was a matter of both teams feeling each other out, the only scoring in the game came in the first period when Jake "the Killer" Z went end to end through everyone on the ice and finished it with a top shelf beauty. they don't ask how just how many. The Defence led by veterans Captain snap Evan D, and Jaeyden C to the rescue were outstanding as well in this one.  Kyle S got the shut out between the pipes making several key saves through out the game.  When interviewed after the game his father said, "we gotta keep on truckin here, and that's a big 10-fo, coooooome own". The next night the series shifted to Ayr for an intense contest.  Ayr opened the scoring in the first but the Paris boys countered with their own goal with a top cheese shot by rookie stand out 6ft6" 110lb Mathew B, linemates Payton M, (Old Macdonald had a farm) and Austin R (who robbed the puck off of an Ayr players stick) did the dirty work and some nice passing on this goal. The game remained tied till half way through the second period when Preston B broke in on a break away pulling of a triple deke move on the goaler. this kids not just cooool he's burrrrrrrr.  he also added an empty net goal to seal the win, final score paris 3 ayr 1.  The defense in this one was led by Connor C(Barney Fife) He was here there and everywhere on the ice, at times literally on the ice.  When interviewed after the game his father Kenny Boy, said "the kids gets his patience and grace from his mother, I've been a bundle of nerves my whole life, keep on truckin that's a big 10- fo, cooooome own". Next the series shifted back to paris for a feisty game 3.  With Paris having a strangle hold on the series Ayr played desperate and ended up coming out with a 3-1 win. the lone goal in this one was scored by Kyle K, when interviewed after this game his dad said, "who won? I was snowmobiling in the parking lot" Now shifting back to Ayr for game 4 and paris looking to finish the flames they did just that. Skating to a 2-0 tight contested victory.  The line of James H, Peter F(whos grandparents were there to cheer him on) and Kyle K played an excellent game, with several scoring chances as well as playing strong defensively.  Preston B scored the winner in the second period on another break away. The back end was led by Aiden Soups on C. this kids tougher then a can of soup. fearless! Kyle S played another strong game between the pipes picking up his second shut out of the series. Paris will now look to Jake F,(the foxy one) to carry some of the load in southern counties in net. And he's ready and able to do the job. Dalton K who has been out with an upper body injury has been an excellent teammate the whole way, attending every game and practice and encouraging the boys the whole time! His father eagle eye Mike K, makes several key reffing calls each game from the bench. other bench staff Jason H, has done an excellent job all year keeping the intensity level up on the bench. last but not least trainer Chris D, has been on time and sober to every game in the play offs. In the final interview of the series father Cam M, said he thought the Paris boys got out coached all series but were still able to win thank god. Bill Z who was standing beside him just shook his head, and said  BRING ON SIMCOE
