Bantams Gear Up For Play offs
The Paris Bantams are getting ready for a play off run like no other, and took a step in the right direction tonight at home vs a pesky Tavistock bunch.
Tavistock opened the scoring early in the game but the paris boys battle back to win the game 3-2. Peter F got the boys rolling on the power play with a blast that almost went through the back of the net, high and hard were they keep the ice cubes in the fridge. he was quoted on the bench saying that was for my grandparents, I love them, and I love conky too. minutes after that goal Ashton J fought off 3 Tavistock players down low to come out of the corner to beat the goaler 5 hole. Helping out on that goal were linemates crazy Kyle K, who never takes poop from anyone, especially when his girl is in the crowd watching as was the case tonight, and other linemate James H, who's having a tremendous rookie campaign, and leads the league in fights and penalties drawn. Paris added to the lead early in the third when the go to line of Jake killer Z, Preston high flying B, and Dalton the dangler K, did some excellent work down low with Killer finding the back of the net, looked just like Ryan Getslaf. Aiden soup C was instrumental on the goal ragging the puck deep in to the tavistock zone. Don't call that kid chicken s...., its chicken soup. He plays fearless out there. anyway moving on, late in the game with tavistock pressing hard the line of Austin R, who never gets robbed, Payton M who loves big macs, and Mathew B, kept the tavistock boys at bay with there relentless pressure, to preserve the win for the home team. Payton M's father, Cam M, was quoted after the game saying well we won but we weren't very good, he then popped back into his garbage pail(Oscar the grouch). The defense had another strong performance lead by he's back captain snap, Evan D, along with rookie stand out Connor C, who has more hair these days. And who can forget heart and sole Jaedyn C, with his strong leadership role once again, he was quoted after the game saying well we are ready for this, its a gut check time, and all lines are rolling. Kyle S was superb between the pipes for the paris boys keeping them in it all night. Paris will now look to Jacob F to carry the load in net on sunday in Aylmer.(good seats are still available) check back sunday night for another update and a holiday message.
