Novice Rep, 2015-2016 (Paris Minor Hockey)

The Novice Rep Wolfpack ran into a strong Simcoe Warriors team in the Quarter-final round of the OMHA play-offs.  Simcoe had run the table during the Southern Counties Regular Season and followed that up with an impressive display of hockey against the Wolfpack.  Paris played a strong opening period in game 1 and found themselves trailing 1-0.  However, Simcoe found another gear in the 2nd period and the game quickly got away from the Wolfpack. 

The Wolfpack Novice Rep team worked hard all year to finish 7th out of 19 teams in the Southern Counties Regular season.  Based on their record, they have been placed in the A division play-offs for the 2015/16 season.  This is a great accomplishment for the team which returned three players from the previous season.

The Wolfpack Novice team finished their league off with a record of 12 wins and 7 losses after splitting their final two games of the season.  Paris defeated St George by a score of 8 to 1 before dropping their final game of the season in Simcoe by a 5-1 score. 

The Novice Rep Wolfpack are into their final week of the regular season and are riding the wave of a consistent high level of team play which has allowed them to win their past 10 games.  Their latest win was a 10-0 win over the Port Dover Pirates on Thursday night.  Paris controlled much of the play during the game leading 2-0 after the first and 5-0 after two periods.
