Novice Wolfpack Gaining Ground
The Novice Rep Wolfpack are slowing gaining ground in the Southern Counties League standings by winning their last six games to improve their record to 7 wins and 5 losses.

The Wolfpack made a brief but energetic appearance during the Paris Mounties game on November 14th and carried that effort into their two games this past week.

On Thursday night, Paris hosted the Hagersville Hawks in a spirited game.  Playing without their regular goalie due to an illness, the Wolfpack may have played their best game defensively so far this year as limited Hagersville to only a couple of chances the entire game.  The defense controlled the Hawks attack and the forwards did a great job pressuring the puck from the behind.  The game was tight early in the 3rd period after a fluky Hawks goal made it 4-2.  However, the Wolfpack responded with 8 unanswered goals to seal the win.

On Saturday, Paris travelled to Plattsville to face the Rage and skated away with a 9-1 win.  Five different skaters scored for the Wolfpack as they jumped out to a 3-0 lead and never looked back.  The Wolfpack showed some strong play on offense sharing the puck and making some nice passes to open players.

With a run of some illness, the Rep team was able to call up three players from the LL this week.  Nathan G, Cale D and Max P all played solids games this week and thanks for your help.

After a couple of practices this week, Paris will host Waterford on Thursday night for their lone game of the week.  At the conclusion of Thursday's game, the Wolfpack will have six games remaining in their regular season.  These games will be used to continue their improvement on their positional play and overall team play as they continue to adopt their "my best" philosophy.
