U7-2 Red, U7, 2023-2024 (Paris Minor Hockey)

in the third and final game of the Jamboree, we had a close battle against Tilsonburg, but again Calgary Red played like a team, cheering each other on and playing some great hockey.  Isla was grinding all day and it payed of in the final game, she got her first goal and her who team was proud of her.  For this she earned herself the Game Chain. Great job Isla. 

In the second game of the Jamboree Calgary Red was even more focused on team work.  The goal of the game was to make as many great passes as possible and play great positional hockey.  Austin did exactly that, setting up his teammates, and playing his position exceptionally.  Congrats Austin for winning the Game Chain!

Calgary Red had their first Jamboree on January 6th in Cayuga and wow did this team show up.   During the first game Alex was all over the ice, making great passes, cheering on his teammates,  and playing some fantastic shut down defence.  Congrats on the Game Chain Alex, you earned it. 

Last game before the Christmas break and Calgary Red travelled down to Port Dover for a game against the Pirates.  It was a great game with lots of passing and fantastic teamwork.  Maverick played some great two way hockey and buried his first one past the Pirates goalie.  For his efforts he was awarded the Game Chain, way to go Mav.

Calgary Red had back to back games this weekend.  in second half we traveled to Burford for a game against the near by rivals.  Before tonight's game we talked about spreading out, and playing hard without the puck.  Tonight Luca did exactly that, he found the open ice, dug the puck out in the corners and even got himself a hat trick.  Congrats on the Game Chain Luca, well Deserved.
