3 More Wins For The Peewee Reps!
The Paris Optimist Peewee Rep made it six wins in a row with another lopsided victory Friday night.

Game 1 of the week would see Paris headed for a game in Delhi on Tuesday night.  Alex B would catch fire on this night and take the game into his own hands.  Owen H would also put one in the pipes, seeing his hard work ethic pay off.

Delhi would come out of the gate and make it 1-0 just 12 seconds, catching Paris on it's heals.  Owen H would tie things up at 5:05 of the first on the powerplay on some nice puck moving in the Delhi zone.  The assists would go to Simon O and Jason B.  The first period would end in a 1-1 tie.

The second period had just one goal.  That being a coast to coaster from Alex B on a nice feed from Brody R.  Brendan Seibert keep the lead for Paris, coming up with several nice saves.  Paris would lead 2-1 heading into the third.

Paris would get yet another power play goal, just minutes into third.  It was Alex B again with Owen H and Evan B assisting on the play.  This again was all about puck movement on the pp and Paris taking total control of the zone.  Alex would get his third of the night.  Alex would stuff one at the side of the net.  Assists would go to Owen H and Evan B.  This could be a sign of many things to come for this line as they worked well together all night long.  Delhi would make it 4-2 but with only 29 seconds remaining, Paris would hold on for the win.

Paris would host the Aylmer Flames on Thursday night.  Paris would douse the Flames and win 4-1.  Alex B would continue on from the previous game and make it 1-0 six minutes in.  Owen T would get the lone assist on the play.

Paris would head into the second period up 1-0.  Spencer D would get one of his typical grinder goals.  I think there are older kids that would fear how this kid plays in front of the net.  Jason B and Trevor K would get the helpers on the goal.  Paris would get one more before the period would end on a floater from the point from "Field Goal" Nate M.  Austin P would make a nice feed out to Nathan and Nathan would put it past the tender.  Paris would head into the third up 3-0.

Paris would play fairly well in the third but become a little complacent mid way through.  This would cost them and Aylmer would make it 3-1.  This two goal lead was short lived and Paris would make it a three goal lead again. Brody R would make a great decision to rush on a feed from his "D" partner and score to make it 4-1, which would end up being the final.

Friday night would be more of the same for the Wolfpack, when they would face the Waterford Wildcats.  Paris would start slow, resulting in the coaching staff calling a timeout just 4 minutes in.  This is exactly what the boys needed to regroup.  Although the first period would end 0-0, the Wolfpack was starting to control the game.

Owen H would get his first of two on the night at 3:30 of the second period. Owen T would get the lone assist on the play.  Alex B would now chime in on the powerplay with an unassisted goal where he would drive the net and put one past the tender.  Paris would score another (actually twice), but the puck was not seen entering the goal.  Paris would head into the third up 2-0.

Austin P would get one early in the third on some great puck movement from him and his line mates.  Assists would go to Simon O and Max K.  Alex B would make it 4-0 and a lone goal where he would bury it past the Waterford goalie.  The 4-0 curse would attack the Wolfpack and Waterford would make it 4-1.  Spencer D would get redemption on his previous goal that was called back and make it 5-1, wristing one upstairs on the Waterford goalie.  Trevor K would make a nice feed to Spence to set up the goal.  Paris would go up 6-1 on a Owen H beauty.  Owen T and Evan B would get the assists on yet another powerplay goal.  Paris would allow Waterford to make it 6-2 but Austin P would get it right back for Paris' seventh goal of the night.  Harry P would move the puck up the ice and feed Austin where he would deke the goalie and get a beauty.  The final score would end up 7-2.

The Peewee's will have a quiet week where they'll practice twice.  They will then be one of the teams in the Rob Johnston Tournament next weekend where they hope to continue their teamwork and continued success.  Game times are Friday @ 8:30pm and then on Saturday @ 12:00pm and 7:30pm. GO WOLFPACK GO!!
