Game 2 - Simcoe
Submitted By Mike Sinclair on Tuesday, October 10, 2017
Another good effort.

Once again, we started a bit slow, and, once again, the kids picked up speed and, I think, confidence throughout the game. We had some great chances and limited theirs by hard work. And, the chances they did get, Logan stood tall and closed the door, follwed by some timely backchecking. We made a couple more changes during the game, and will continue to tinker as the season progresses. The players did a very good job at adapting to their new positions.

Congratulations to Logan for his first career shutout.

As our schedule gets busier in the next few weeks, we will continue to push the players for their perfect effort on every shift.

Tom

After tomorrow's practice, there will a parent/player meeting. I'll do an introduction, discuss team rules, and field questions. Someone will let us know which room we'll be able to use. Thanks.
