Bantam LL3, U15, 2016-2017 (Paris Minor Hockey)

Our team held our end of season party at the Cro's nest this past Friday night, with another great pot luck, that our team have become well known for. Thanks again, to Tammy and her Chapters store for supplying all of the player door prize gifts, all of my coaching and team staff for their support and the Kraemer's and Hoogstraten's for their tournament sponsorships. Congratulations to all players on a great season, read on for player award descriptions.

Right into the final seconds of our final game our Bantam LL3 Wolfpack were fighting with everything they had, chasing down a final goal that would make the difference with living another day to play again and move on in our final hometown Syl Apps tournament.  This ongoing thirst to win from our players was what earned them goals and created fast paced, exciting games to watch and the difference in how we finished games.

Hayden and Fletcher captained teams for the Bantam LL 3 skills competition that took place on Saturday, February 25 at our Brant Sports Complex. Hayden’s team donned the Home Team Red jerseys, whose team included players: Jayden, Evan, Owen, Oscar, Liam and goaltender, James, while Fletcher’s team wore our Visitor Black jerseys with players: Jackson, Spencer, Ryan, Ian, Jack and goaltender Josh.

Our Bantam Wolfpack 3 team closed out our final league game, similar to our opening league game, with a high scoring win.  Pre-game time, our dressing room was alive with anticipation and good nature fun, as all players were on hand to play our final league game against Simcoe Warriors 1, who ended up achieving 2nd place in the league standings in the A pool.

Our Paris team had a busy four days of hockey that included 3 games and our season’s Skills Competition.  Although, our players worked hard, with these back to back games, their performance was not affected, in fact, if anything it raised the bar of their performance level.
