Length of Games: Round Robin – 10 – 10 – 15
Semi Finals & Championship – 10 – 15 – 15
ALL GAMES ARE STOP TIME WITH A 2 MINUTE WARM UP
Tournament Rules And Regulations Are Those Of The OMHA & Hockey Canada
In Addition The Following Local Rules Will Apply
Rules:
. No Body Checking
. For tie breaking purposes teams will accumulate no more than +5 or -5 per game
. 5 minute fighting major – Automatic tournament Suspension
. Gross Misconduct/Match Penalties – Automatic tournament Suspension
. No time out allowed in round robin
. 1 30 sec. time out per team allowed in Semi Final and Championship games
. OMHA manual of Operations Rule 50.1 will apply for all other Suspensions
Regulations:
.Teams must be ready to start 15 minutes prior to scheduled game time
. Teams not allowed on the ice until the ice resurfacing machine door is closed
. Teams are responsible for any damage to dressing rooms and other arena facilities . Report any damage to tournament officials before using assigned dressing rooms
Team Standings / Advancement
. All teams are guaranteed 3 games
. Team standings will be determined from group play,2 points for a win 1 point for
a tie
. The top 4 teams will advance to the Semi Final.

Game Format:
. All Round Robin games will be stop time consisting of 10 – 10 – 15 min periods. No overtime
. All Championship games will consist of 10 – 15 – 15 stop min periods
. In the event after regulation time in Semi Final and Championship games the score is tied , the teams will proceed to a 5 minute 4 on 4 sudden death overtime period. If game is still tied after 1st overtime period the team will proceed to a 15 min 3 on 3 sudden death overtime period, Overtime will continue at 15 min periods until a winner is declared
Tie Breaking:
. The following tie breaking steps will be used in the event of a tie between 2 teams
. Head to head
. The following tie breaking steps will be used in the event of a tie between 3 or more teams
.The team with the best +/- as per the tournament standings
. Most wins in round robin
. Least number of goals against
.The team receiving the least number of penalty minutes in the round robin
.The team winning the toss of a coin
ALL TIE BREAKING STEPS MUST BE FOLLOWED IN THE ORDER THEY ARE LISTED !!
THE TOURNAMENT COMMITTEE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO MAKE ALL DECISIONS REGARDING THE INTERPRETATION OF THE RULES AND REGULATIONS . NO APPEALS ALLOWED.
