Respect in Sport – Parent Program

The Ontario Minor Hockey Association (OMHA) is dedicated to fostering a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment, free from maltreatment, harassment, bullying, and misconduct.

To support this commitment, OMHA requires that one parent or guardian per family complete the online Respect in Sport – Parent Program (RIS) before their child can be rostered to a PMHA team.

  • The course must be completed using the same email address used to create your Hockey Canada account.

  • If you have already completed the course, you do not need to retake it.

  • If you're registering a new child, and have taken the course previously, simply add the child to your existing RIS profile.

  • This requirement also applies to any team official, even if they have completed another version of Respect in Sport.
