Midget LL2, U18, 2017-2018 (Paris Minor Hockey)

PMHA hosted the Coaches and Players Award Banquet, where the following players on our team received the following awards:

Paris' Midget LL2 Wolfpack hockey team converged on Game Time in Brantford this past Sunday, following our Syl Apps Hockey Tournament for some down time with teammates to enjoy dinner, games and awards with family and friends.

A lot has happened since my last write up on January 31, with some things that do not deserve to mention; fortunately, there are some positive things that I am ecstatic to outline in this season review. Our first good piece of news was our Wolfpack enjoyed back to back wins when we faced the Hespeler Shamrocks 2 team.  Our two game series vs. the Shamrocks started off when we hosted the first exhibition game at our Brant Sports Complex that earned our team a 5-2 win.

This past Sunday at the Brant Sports Complex all three of our LL Midget Wolfpack teams celebrated wins on home ice.  The LL1 team started off earning a win 4-2 over Ingersoll Express, next up was our LL2 team who headed out onto the ice to play against the Tillsonburg Tornadoes 1 which was a close matched game but we pulled off a 5-4 win.  Finally, the LL3 team started their game vs. Port Dover and defeated the Sailors 9-3, completing a perfect night for Paris.

Our Midget LL2 had a busy schedule over a 7 day period with 4 games and a practice, all of this started off at our Brant Sports Complex when we met up with our Paris Midget LL3 team for a Wednesday night game. Players were set for a rematch against our other hometown team that we last faced, a month to the date, where our rivals were able to claim a 4-1 win against our team.  Our players, this time around, were full of confidence, talk and wagering on this game with their schoolmates, so much so, that it was palpable in the dressing room which insured that all, but 2 injured players, were ...
