Wolfpack Defeat Norwich
The Novice Rep Wolfpack bounced back from their first loss with a strong game Thursday against Norwich. All three lines skated hard from the opening face-off and wore down the visiting Knighthawks.
After falling behind 1-0, Paris scored three times to take a 3-1 lead after the first period. The Wolfpack outscored Norwich 3 to 1 on the second period and led by a score of 6-2 heading into the 3rd period. In the 3rd period, the Wolfpack's skating and pressure finally took its toll on Norwich and their goalie (who made a lot of great saves during the first two periods). Paris scored 12 times in the third on their way to an 18-3 win. Nine separate players scored for the Wolfpack as all three lines contributed to the offense. Palmer, Ryan and Max K each recorded hat tricks.
The Wolfpack will now hit the road for a tournament this weekend in Hensall before returning the Southern Counties league play when they will travel to Ayr to face a very strong Ayr team on Tuesday night and host Six Nations on Thursday night.
