U9MD Modified Full-Ice Games
Modified full-ice games are almost the same as regular full-ice hockey, but with a few small differences:

Penalized players are escorted to their team's bench, not the penalty box.

Minor penalties are 1 minute on the clock, instead of the normal 2 minutes.

The penalized player is off the ice for at least that 1 minute. After one minute, return to play is at the discretion of the coach.

There’s no power play or penalty kill — play stays 5-on-5 the whole game.
U9MD teams will play modified full-ice until January 9, then switch to regular full-ice hockey.
U9LL teams will keep playing half-ice until January 9, then move to regular full-ice games too.
