BANTAM LL1 BRING HOME THE BRONZE!!
The bantam LL1 took part in the "Rise Up Cup" tournament in Mooretown, and took home the consolation championship, along with the bronze medal, after going 5-1 and outscoring the opposition 35-9!!

First up for the Wolfpack was the hometown team Mooretown. Must have been the car ride down because the boys from Paris were like caged animals, that just got released. They took control early and never looked back, out skating, and out working Mooretown from start to finish. The game ended with a Wolfpack 7-0 victory, game MVP went to Lucas R, with yet another shut out on the year.

Friday night we left our hotel to head back to the rink to face off against the Woolwich Wildcats. This game started out fairly even, but again, just like in the 1st game, Paris used their speed to wear down Woolwich and as the game went on, Paris slowly took over and skated away with a 8-1 victory. Game MVP was Owen H.

To start off what would be a very busy Saturday. Paris made the long drive along the water to Walpole to face off against Sarnia. After a lengthy delay, thanks to a zamboni malfunction, we were finally able to take to the ice. Maybe it was the delay but, Paris didn't have their legs going to start and found themselves down 1-0 within the 1st minute. After we woke up and found our game, Paris started to look like the team from Friday and again skated to a 1 sided victory, winning 6-1. Game MVP was Zach R.

With very little rest and back in Mooretown, Paris had to gear back up for a tilt with Embro. Again Paris got off to a slow start and allowed Embro to score within the 1st couple minutes, but again just like the last game, Paris stuck to the game plan and just kept dumping the puck in and wearing down the other team, until they took over and again just like the other 3 games, Paris was on the right side of a 1 sided victory, winning 5-1. Game MVP was Owen T.

After heading back to the hotel for a team meal. The boys had only a few hours to refuel and rest up before heading back to the rink to play their 3rd game of the day and 5th in a day and half. This time we were up against possibly one of, if not the strongest team we've played all year in Thornton. With fresher legs, I do believe we could have taken them, but on that night Thornton had the legs and the edge and Paris fell 6-3, and would now face Woolwich again for the bronze medal.

In a rematch of their 2nd game, Paris would face off against Woolwich for their 6th game of the tournament. The boys were tired, but were determined to bring their A game and leave their mark in Mooretown, and did just that with a convincing 6-0 win for 3rd place and the bronze medal. Game MVP was Austin P.

Boys...one h** of a great weekend, we went, we kicked a**, and we left, that's how we do it!!!

After returning home and back to regular season, it didn't get any easier, as we had to face bantam LL2. A lot of talk in the room before this one, with bragging rights on the line. Both teams came out strong and played a great fast paced, surprisingly clean game... With LL1 getting the win and the bragging rights. Final score was 4-1, and I just have to mention, if it wasn't for 1 certain player scoring on his own goal... Lucas R just might have had another shut out....but it was a nice goal.. Lucas, you didn't stand a chance..lol.. Goals were scored by Austin P with 4...or is it 5...? Assists went to Owen H with 4 and Noah S with 4.

Great Job Boys....
