Wolfpack Starts First Week Off With 2-1 Record
The Paris Peewee Rep Team began it's Southern Counties League play Oct 3 with a loss but followed up with two big wins.

The boys had a fairly successful first week of the season going 2 and 1 after 3 games played.

The team started its season in Port Dover on Wednesday night, the game ending in a 3-2 loss.  Paris started slow as the team hadn't been on the ice for over a week.  The team was down 2-0 after two periods before they would start to play to their potential. Logan C played a solid game in goal and kept the game very close. Evan B would start the scoring for Paris with a nice wrist shot from just inside the blue line. Brody R would get the lone assist on the goal.  Port Dover would add another before Liam A would pot a rebound to make it 3-2.

Paris would play it's first home game of the year this past Friday night against St. George.  The Wolfpack were 3-1 winners. It was Evan B who would start the scoring on a nice feed from Owen S. Paris would take a 1-0 lead.  St George would tie the game up with just seconds to go in the first.  There was no scoring in the second period as Max C held the fort.  Connor J would add to the Paris lead and make it 2-1 with a shot from the point.  Evan B would get the assist on the play.  Ryan R would go coast to coast a score a beauty top shelf goal to solidify the win for Paris.  Special teams were huge for Paris all night long.

The Wolfpack would finish the week off against one of their rivals from last year when they would play Simcoe.  Logan C played superb and would earn a well deserved shut out.  Other than the first 6 minutes of the hockey game, Paris owned the ice.  Max K would score late in the first to give Paris a 1-0 lead.  Brody R would make a nice pass to get Max the puck and earn the assist.  Paris began the second period the same way they ended the first..........on fire!  Ryan R would score just over half way through the second with his patented wrist shot and make it 2-0.  Paris kept the pressure on again in the 3rd when Max K would receive a nice feed from Jackson B and make it 3-0.  Max would get the hattie with about 6 minutes to play on another beauty pass from Jackson B.

The coaching staff was proud of the boys as they improved their game play every night.

The Wolfpack will have practice Thursday night before heading back into game action versus Langton @ 8:20 Friday night.  See everyone at the rink!!

GO WOLFPACK GO!!!
