Hawks Edge Wolfpack in Southern Counties Playoff Action
The Hagersville Hawks scored a pair of goals in
the back half of the third period to edge the Paris Wolfpack 3-1 in Southern
Counties Group ‘A’ Playoff action on Friday January 27th at the
Brant Sports Complex.
The Hawks opened the scoring with 3 minutes remaining in the first period. Paris tied the game with 1:16 remaining in the second period on the power play. Gavin F. was awarded the goal in the goal mouth scramble with assists going to Matt and Will.. Hagersville broke the tie with 8:58 remaining in the 3rd period when they picked up a rebound off the rush and found the back of the net. Just over 2 minutes later they increased the margin to 3-1 when an errant bounce led to a breakaway.
