Peewee LL1 2015/16 Champs!!
What an exciting finish to Peewee LL1's year! The peewee's won their grouping on Wednesday night by beating Hespeler 3-2 in a best 2 out of 3 series. Paris won the series 2-0!

The game started with Paris being all over Hespler. Hespler was unable to get a shot in the first period as Paris was in their end the whole time, other than maybe a minute or so. The game was 0-0 after 1.

Paris opened the scoring on a nice top shelf goal by "Last second man" Lucas S, who had minutes before just missed a bar down chance as it came out on the wrong side of the goal line. Score 1-0 Paris. Hespler came back minutes later to tie it 1-1. "Top Cheese" Carson K quickly made it 2-1 fifteen seconds later on a beautiful feed by Karson L. As the second period came to a close, Hespler made it 2-2 to head into the 3rd period tied.

Paris started the 3rd period the same way they had played the entire game........fast and hard. All of the forward lines and sets of "D" were awesome as they prevented any chances that Hespler might get. If they did make a mistake, "Danny Boy" Daniel D was there to "save" the day. "Iron Man" Mitchell M put the Wolfpack up 3-2 with about 9 minutes to go with some hard work around the net . Karson L and Carson L had the helpers. Paris never looked back from there, keeping Hespler's chances to a minimum. As the final buzzer sounded, the boys, coaches and fans that had made the crazy drive up to Hespeler in a spring snowstorm, screamed and cheered as the Wolfpack were champs!

Everyone was a big contributor on the last game of the year and enough can't be said about their team work ethic throughout their playoff run in which they went 9-0-1. Great work Wolfpack!!!

The team kept their ice on Thursday night that was to originally to be a game to have a night of fun. The team had a skills competition followed by a scrimmage that the coaches clearly won. The team then celebrated with some food and drinks at a local restaurant.

This was a great group of kids that worked hard for what they achieved. Once they got on a role they never looked back. As coaches we are all proud to be a part of this team.
