Wolfpack U8-2 players experience Leafs vs. Habs game!
Wolfpack U8-2 players have a fantastic experience at Leafs game!
On Saturday Feb. 18th, members of the U8-2 Wolfpack headed down to Toronto to watch the Toronto Maple Leafs host the Montreal Canadiens! The kids and dads alike had a fantastic time. The group was made up of mostly Leaf fans, but we did have a few Habs fans in the group, along with one very confused dad who claims to be a Bruins fan but was wearing a Habs jersey at a Leafs game! (We're still not sure about him!)
The night started off with the kids getting to watch warm ups at the glass! One of the kids made a sign asking Leafs players to trade a Leafs puck for a Wolfpack puck, unfortunately this did not yield any results. Somehow, the Wolfpack pucks did find their way onto the ice for the Leafs to use in warm ups! This brought on some pretty excited cheers from the kids along with some other fans as well.
The rest of the night was spent in a gondola box where everyone was free to sit or stand and eat and drink as much as they wanted, watching the Leafs beat up on the Habs! (Much to the disappointment of a few in attendance.)
The experience was an amazing one with the kids and dads creating memories that are sure to last!
