2 More Victories For The Peewee Rep
Although the coaching staff wouldn't say the games were stellar, the Paris Peewee Reps came away with 2 more victories recently.

After almost a whole week off, the peewee's would head to Aylmer on the 23rd of November.  The boys would get off to a poor start and Aylmer would get the first goal.  Paris would play flat most of the first period but would get a dirty one with .08 seconds left in the first. Scoring on the play was probably the hardest working of the night. Owen H would score with Evan B and Trevor K getting the assists.  Brendan S was solid like always all period long.  The score was 1-1 going into the 2nd.

Although Paris would pick it up in the second, they still seemed flat.  There was no scoring in the second from either team.  Brendan was a wall and wouldn't let Aylmer get that second goal.

Paris would finally get it together and score 56 seconds in.  Trevor K put one right where mommy keeps the peanut butter on some nice passing from Spencer D and the wirey Austin P.  Alex B would take over from there, scoring the next two to make it 4-1.  The first was on a beautiful feed from Simon O and Owen H.  The second was an unassisted goal where Alex would crank one low stick side by the goalie.  Word is the goalie didn't even see it.  Strong netminding was the difference.  Without Brendan putting up a wall in the first two periods, this game doesn't end up 4-1.

Paris would now head to Waterford on Monday night.  Paris would take Waterford a little lightly and would again start slow.  Paris looked sluggish but would score the 1st goal of the night. Alex B would go end to end and deke the goalie out of his shorts to make it 1-0. Brendan S was stellar yet again and kept the score close.  Paris would be a bit fatigued heading into the second as they had some time in the box that took away a bit of their energy.

Waterford would score 4 1/2 minutes into the second period to make it a 1-1 hockey game.  Unfortunately, the Wolfpack had to deal with some very inexperienced officials which didn't make the game easy on them. However they would preserver.  Jason B would score a beauty and put the Wolfpack up 2-1. Owen T put the nail in the coffin with his first of the year.  What a beauty it was!!  Owen fired one from the point, elevating the puck about 6" off the ice and blew it by the goaltender.  Alex B would get the lone assist on the play.  Paris would finish the game 3-1 victors.

Paris will host Caledonia this Saturday at 5:40pm where they'll need to bring it as Caledonia has yet to be beat this year.  If the boys play like they can and start right from the first drop of the puck, there's a good chance Caledonia will receive their first loss of the year.  Keep your eye out for upcoming articles with updated scores.

GO WOLFPACK GO!!!
