Wolfpack Go 2-0 Over Weekend , Now Sit Alone On Top Of Standings
The peewee ae, went 2-0 over the weekend, in a home and home series with the New Hamburg Huskies. With the 2 wins, the boys have jumped to the top of the Southern Counties Standings.

Friday November 17th, we welcomed the Huskies to Paris on a night when the Arena went Pink in support of Cancer Research. Both teams sported pink laces and tape. All through the stands, parents and grandparents were showing their support as well. Thank you everyone.
The game started out with both teams playing it safe and chances seemed to be hard to come by. For both teams. As the first period moved along, the Wolfpack started to find their legs and play as a team, and at the end of the 1st we were up 1-0.
The 2nd period saw the boys take over. Great passes and heads up defense was the key and the Wolfpack was playing some strong hockey. A quick shot by the Huskies though seemed to have eyes and found it's way through and the game was all tied up. What should of been a spark for New Hamburg seemed to do just that for the Wolfpack. The boys seemed a lot more determined and at the end of the 2nd the score was 3-1.
Heading into the 3rd the boys had that look that they weren't finished yet, and we put together one heck of a 3rd with 6 goals and just dominated the Huskies and took the game with a final score of 9-1. Just like to point out that this team isn't a 1 or 2 man team, but a very balanced line up as we had 7 different scorers and having all 3 lines scoring. Goals by, Noah S with 2, Alex B with 2, Simon O, Caiden G, Austin P, Owen H, and Tyler A , each with 1. Assists to, Tyler A with 2, Tyler G with 2, Nathan M with 2, Alex B, Owen H, Caiden G, Austin P, Simon O, and Noah S. Player of the game was Tyler G.
In the 2nd half of the home and home, everyone knew that it was going to be a lot tougher game back at their barn. It was a lot more evenly matched game for the first 2 periods, and if not for some solid goaltending from Lucas R, the outcome might have been different.
In the 3rd, and finding ourselves down 2-1, the boys kept calm, and just kept playing their game, knowing that eventually they would get their chances.
The determination of the Wolfpack would not be beat, and after tying it up, the boys were able to find a way to get that go ahead goal, and finished the weekend going 2-0, with a 3-2 victory. Goals by, Austin P, Tyler A, and Caiden G, with assists to, Owen H, and Noah S.

Great Hockey Boys....Go Wolfpack!!
